Bhargavi’s achievement are bigger than her age (23) . "A" grade Artist in Doordarshan. She made her Arangetram on 21st June 1991 at Bharati Vidya Bhavan, Chennai. Indian Fine Arts Society had adjudged her the best dancer of the year for the year 2001-2002.

She is a recipient of - Lakshmi Viswanathan's Prize for the best Tanjore Quartet Varnam in the Talent Promotion dance recitals conducted by Shri Krishna Gana Sabha in January 2001, Balasaraswathi Award instituted by Sri Ragam Fine Arts, Chennai, "Natya Mayuri” award by the Chennai Social and Cultural Centre and "Natya Thaaragai" title by Salangai Oli Trust, Chennai.

This year Nungambakkam Cultural Academy Trust has bestowed her with the award “Nrithya Kala Siromani”.

Her performance includes participation in "Nritya Prathiba" dance festival organized by the Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi, 2005 and gave 7 performances in 6 towns in Italy during May 2005, for Per Donare Association, Italy.

Performed in Pondicherry under the auspices of the Aliance Franchise for duration of 2 hrs and 15 mins on 3rd February 2001. Gave a Solo performance organized by the Directorate of Art and Culture, the Govt. of Pondicherry, and the South Zone Cultural Centre, Thanjavur, on the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Indian Independence at Kambar Kalai Arangam, Pondicherry.

Performed at the Thyagaraja Festival in Triveni Theatres, New Delhi, on 21st January 2001 for duration of 2 hrs on the eve of Maha Shivarathri and in a show arranged by the SZCC at Tanjavur Bragadeeshwar Temple on 14th Jul 2001.

Almost all the leading English and Tamil Newspaper and magazines have reviewed many of her performances. Recently there has been coverage in the Italian newspapers about the performances in Italy. Most notable are the appreciative critiques by Sri. Subbudu, Smt. Leela Venkatraman and Smt Nandini Ramani in the The Statesman (New Delhi), The Indian Express and The Hindu.

She is working as a Lecturer in SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
